An industrial technology company in Milan is seeking a Project Engineer (Project Manager). The successful candidate will lead projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget while collaborating with teams and stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of project management experience are required. This full-time position emphasizes excellent communication and project management skills.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Plan, organize, and ensure the successful completion of assigned projects, whether linked to commercial opportunities or internal initiatives, on schedule and within budget.
2. Define project resources, budget, risks, action plans, and KPIs; submit these to R&D leadership.
3. Oversee engineering, procurement, and production of Pilot Units to meet project constraints.
4. Promote proactive behavior, focus on targets, and improve efficiency.
5. Apply project management methodologies and sound judgment to meet project objectives.
6. Coordinate with team members, external contractors, and vendors as needed.
7. Monitor project progress, analyze variances, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
8. Maintain communication with stakeholders regarding project status, milestones, and goals.
9. Ensure delivery of projects on time, within budget, and according to quality standards; support change management processes.

Education and Professional Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager; experience in R&D or new product development is a plus. Certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency in project management techniques, AutoCAD, MS Office (including Project), and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills in English; interpersonal skills are highly valued.
• Strong attention to detail, coordination skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience in managing kick-off meetings, factory / site acceptance tests, commissioning, and start-up activities.
• Knowledge of EHS regulations and systemic thinking.
