A leading consultancy firm is seeking a Project Manager to lead a study on the economic opportunities and challenges in the Karlovy Vary region for transitioning to a green economy. Candidates must have a relevant Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of industry experience. Fluency in English is required, and experience in Czechia and EU projects is advantageous. This is a 9-month engagement starting October 2025.

Competenze

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in management or advisory roles.
• At least 5 years of experience as Team Leader or Project Manager.
• Experience working with public authorities and industry stakeholders.

Overview

NTU International A / S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called : Transformation of the Karlovy Vary Region 2026+ and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

The overall objective of this assignment is for a consultant (the “Service Provider”) to carry out a Study on Karlovy Vary region’s economic opportunities and challenges for the transition to a green economy and energy system (the “Project”).

Location

Karlovy Vary Region, Czech Republic.

Duration

The intended start date is October 2025 and the services shall be provided for a period of 9 months from this date.

Qualifications and skills

• At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional qualification) in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering; Industrial Economics or Innovation Management; Environmental or Energy Policy.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required (CEFR C1) (minimum requirement).
• Fluency in written and spoken Czech would be an asset.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and policy drafting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
• Computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Teams).

General professional experience

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including senior management or advisory role in at least two of the areas presented below:
• Industrial transformation;
• Clean technology deployment;
• Strategic project development.

Specific professional experience

• At least 5 years of experience as Team Leader or Project Manager in development and / or investment finance (minimum requirement).
• Experience working with: Public authorities and industry stakeholders; EU-funded projects or international institutions will be considered as an asset.
• Experience working in Czechia will be considered as an asset.
• International experience will be considered as an asset.
• In-depth knowledge of Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA), proven by at least one project will be considered as an asset.
