Position: Project Manager – Automotive Fluids Development

Role Responsibilities

• Develop differentiated product formulations for Driveline Fluid / Engine Oil Lubricants, aligned with business strategy, OEM technical requirements, and global marketing needs to expand branded products.
• Lead or support global or regional projects to deliver differentiated products to market promptly.
• Interact continuously with component/additive suppliers, base oil manufacturers, and external test laboratories.
• Collaborate closely with lab technicians, test engineers, technical support teams, key account managers, and marketing specialists to improve existing and new products.
• Plan, execute, and document product development programs and laboratory work for experimental formulations.
• Perform competitor product evaluations.
• Manage projects with regular updates to stakeholders.
• Design and develop new product formulations to meet customer specifications.
• Develop relationships with OEM customers, Tier 2 suppliers, and regional technical teams.
• Adapt testing strategies as needed and develop autonomous product development skills.
• Structure multiyear projects accurately and manage risks through technical decisions.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, demonstrating accountability and commitment.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in lubes development or automotive fluids formulations is desirable.
• Research and technical knowledge in transmission/engine development or testing.
• Problem-solving skills and innovative, adaptive approach.
• Project management skills following PMI guidelines.
• Budget management experience.
