Digicel Suriname cerca un Project Manager di livello intermedio per guidare progetti tecnologici chiave in infrastrutture, sistemi e applicazioni. Coordina team globali e gestisce stakeholder di alto livello per assicurare risultati entro tempi e budget, promuovendo innovazione e trasformazione digitale.

La figura è orientata a progetti IT, attivazione prodotto e rollout, lifecycle e espansione di reti telecom. Laurea tecnica e 3+ anni di esperienza richiesti; certificazioni PMI gradite.

Competenze

• Laurea in ambito tecnico (es. Informatica o Ingegneria) o equivalente.
• Almeno 3 anni di esperienza nella gestione di progetti tecnologici, preferibilmente nel settore telecom.
• Esperienza nella gestione di team cross-funzionali e stakeholder senior.
• Conoscenza avanzata di strumenti di project management (MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet).
• ConOSC di metodologie di project management (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum).
• Certificazione PMP o equivalente fortemente gradita.

Primary objective of the job:

The Group Technology Project Manager is a critical leader in this journey, overseeing high-impact technology projects across infrastructure, systems and applications, with a particular focus on IT project deployments, product activation and rollout, lifecycle projects and telecoms/fiber network expansion initiatives.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strategic Project Leadership
  • Lead and execute high-priority technology and telecom infrastructure projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline and budget
  • Align projects with the organization's strategic goals to drive innovation, digital transformation, and operational efficiency
• End-to-End Project Management
  • Oversee all phases of project management: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure
  • Manage scope, budget, timelines, risks, resources, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Drive successful outcomes for projects in technology/IT deployments, lifecycle management, product rollout and network expansion
• Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Digital, Commercial, Customer Care, Finance, HR and external partners
  • Represent Technology confidently in key discussions, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project priorities
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work effectively within a matrix-managed environment, coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
  • Drive team engagement, ensuring accountability and collaboration among geographically dispersed team members
• Risk and Issue Management
  • Identify project dependencies, risk and issues; develop and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Monitor and control project progress, proactively managing changes to keep projects on track
• Team Leadership and Motivation
  • Lead, coach, and inspire project teams to foster a high-performance culture and deliver outstanding results
  • Promote a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, accountability and continuous improvement

Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a technical concentration (e.g., Computer Science or Engineering)
• 3+ years of experience managing technology projects, particularly in telecom, IT deployments, and network expansion
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and engaging senior stakeholders
• Advanced proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Smartsheet)
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum)
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable
