The role :

Xylem is seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated Project Manager to join our team in Montecchio Maggiore (VI) where there is a plant of over 800 employees.

The successful candidate will support delivery of transformational change and quality improvement within and across local systems. The proven ability to work in a cross-cutting multi-organizational setting to facilitate service-specific and wider organizational change is vital as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as is demonstrable experience of project management.

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible and accountable for on-time / within budget delivery of projects through Stage & Gate process;
  • Responsible for the delivery of VAVE projects;
  • Be the ‘go-to’ person and effectively communicate with key stakeholders at all levels on project status, risks and resource needs;
  • Apply project leadership skills to manage critical paths, build, influence and lead cross-functional teams to execute project plans;
  • Manage risks and escalate issues in time to develop countermeasures and mitigation plans;
  • Help to support and continuously improve project management practices;
  • Work closely with the global PMO team, and engage & support process improvements & trainings;
  • Be open-minded to adopting best practices & methodology (i.e. Agile) in software or firmware developments;

Requirements :

  • 3+ Years of project-related experience in the management of projects in a structured manufacturing company.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or other related fields, as minimum.
  • Good spoken and written English
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • International experience is a plus as the knowledge of the stage & gate process or Agile

    Smart working : 2 days per week

    Travel : between 25% - 30%
