Job summary

Argotec S.r.l. in Italy seeks a Small Satellite Project Manager to lead development projects from A to F, coordinating across functions and stakeholders. The role combines Agile and Waterfall methodologies in a regulated aerospace environment.

You will manage schedules, risks, procurement interfaces, and client communications, ensuring on-time progress and quality compliance. A Master's in Aerospace Engineering and English fluency are required.

• At least 2 years coordinating Space projects as PM and/or System Engineer.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, execute and monitor Small Satellite development projects from phase A to F.
• Develop and control the Integrated Master Schedule and PM Plan.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; manage critical path and elements.
• Interface with technical, QA, procurement, marketing, admin and finance teams.
• Attend progress/milestone meetings with ARG team and client; generate meeting minutes.
• Support proposals writing and contract requirements with suppliers.

Our Programs Area is looking for Small Satellite Project Managers, who are excited about our mission and capable to manage complex projects both using AGILE and WATERFALL methodologies.

DUTIES

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation, execution and monitoring of Small Satellite development projects from phase A to F. It will interface the main Company functions such as the technical, QA, procurement, marketing, administration, and finance. The main activities will include:

• Development and Control of Integrated Master Schedule;
• Generation of the Project Management Plan;
• Generation of the Risk Management Plan;
• Definition of the technical and programmatic project risks;
• Identification and implementation of mitigation actions for each project risk;
• Management of the Critical Path and critical elements;
• Identification of the LLI and support the procurement function;
• Support to the QA implementation and control;
• Planning and attendance to progress/milestone meetings at subsystem/system level with the ARG team and the Client (in coordination with Technical Responsible);
• Generation of the Minutes of the Meeting;
• Support to proposals writing;
• Support to Contract Requirements Definitions with suppliers;
• Interface with the clients and suppliers;
• Update of the program actions database.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar.
• At least 2 years of experience coordinating projects in the Space field as Project Manager and/or System Engineer;
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

ADDITIONAL ASSETS

• Previous experience in aerospace, defense or advanced industrial environments will be considered as a plus;
• Knowledge of the ECSS;
• Knowledge of SAP;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Project to manage project schedule, costs and resources.

SALARY RANGE: 37.000 - 47.000 EUR Argotec reserves the right to assess the appropriate job level and compensation package based on objective criteria emerging throughout the selection process.
