Project Manager - Italy, Rome - Permanent Contract

Our client is developing a state-of-the-art data centre campus in Rome, designed to meet the highest industry standards for resilience and sustainability. The campus will comprise five independent data centres totalling 30 MW, all powered by renewable energy sources. The facility is strategically located in the surroundings of Rome, providing excellent connectivity and serving as a key hub for digital services in the region.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the delivery of technical infrastructure systems, including electrical, mechanical, cooling, fire protection, UPS, and generators.
• Act as the primary liaison between the client, general contractor, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Provide hands-on support and practical solutions to on-site challenges.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing the construction and delivery of technical systems in large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
