The PM will coordinate various project facets, ensuring compliance with technical and contractual obligations and maintaining client relations. This role requires a strong background in oil and gas projects, especially in challenging environments.

Competenze

• At least 15 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.

• Experience managing at least one EPC project with a TIC value greater than 200 million USD.

SICIM is a construction company established in 1962, offering services related to pipeline installation and ancillary facilities for oil, gas, and water transmission and distribution on an international basis.

Currently, SICIM is seeking a Project Manager for an upcoming international project.

The Project Manager (PM) reports to the Country Manager and is responsible for coordinating all project activities and information, working with Head Office and project staff. The PM has hierarchical responsibility over the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Manager, ensuring that job orders are executed in accordance with technical, contractual, cost, and time objectives, and in compliance with company procedures.

The PM assists in managing and supervising all construction activities, ensuring contractual commitments are met.

Key responsibilities include:

• Interfacing with the Construction Manager and clients, including attending project meetings.
• Maintaining relationships with top management of clients.
• Ensuring correct application of contract terms and conditions.
• Monitoring project resources and identifying potential optimizations.
• Preparing progress reports and highlighting areas of concern.
• Monitoring project performance in scheduling, cost, quality, and HSE requirements.
• Overseeing the budget and ensuring financial accountability.
• Identifying potential contractual change orders and claims, and coordinating their preparation, negotiation, and pricing control.
• Foreseeing client requirements and providing appropriate solutions.
• Supporting procurement and engineering teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business Administration, Project/Program Management, or Engineering from an accredited university, with at least 15 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry. An advanced degree is desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in the industry.
• Experience managing at least one EPC project with a TIC value greater than 200 million USD.
• Experience in the Middle East, especially Iraq or similar regulated, harsh environments, is desirable.
• Familiarity with latest project management practices, quality, HSE, and regulatory/permitting aspects.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.

Work location: E&P phase based in Milan, then abroad on site.
