What You\'ll Do at Elekta

As a Project Manager, based in Italy, you will lead the successful execution of complex projects from order intake to customer handover and training. This hybrid role combines project management and site management responsibilities, ensuring seamless delivery across Italy (mainly), Greece, and Israel.

Responsibilities
  • Project Management
    • Lead and manage projects to ensure delivery on time, within scope and budget.
    • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
    • Communicate proactively with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Monitor project performance and resolve issues before they escalate.
    • Manage project budgets and resource allocation effectively.
  • Site Management
    • Ensure site readiness, including infrastructure, logistics, and safety compliance before installations begin.
    • Uphold safety, regulatory, and Elekta standards at all project sites.
    • Resolve site-related issues swiftly to minimize disruptions.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Partner with Cluster OF Leaders, Project Coordinators, Installation Managers, and Application Specialists to ensure alignment.
    • Identify and address resource or capacity gaps in collaboration with the Cluster OF Leader.
    • Foster a collaborative, customer-focused environment.
  • Customer Satisfaction
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution.
    • Provide regular updates on project progress and milestones.
    • Ensure exceptional service and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Reporting & Documentation
    • Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
    • Deliver regular status updates to Cluster OF Leaders and senior management.
    • Support post-project evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you bring

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years in project or site management, ideally in a regulated or technical industry.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Skills & Competencies

  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
  • Knowledge of site management best practices and safety standards.
  • Native language Italian; Fluent in English; Greek is a plus.

Travel Requirement: Up to 10% international travel (primarily to Greece and Israel).
