Reporting Line

This position reports to: Project Operations Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead all on-site activities of medium to large projects. You will ensure cost-effective execution of project deliverables, adhering to contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements. You will also lead the site team, define main guidelines, and allocate tasks.

The work model for this role is: #LI-remote

This role contributes to the Electrification Smart Power division in North America.

Main Accountabilities

1. Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning to execution, ensuring on-time, within-scope, and within-budget delivery.
2. Manage project financials, including budget tracking, cost control, and forecasting to ensure profitability.
3. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying key milestones and ensuring adherence to timelines.
4. Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and resolving conflicts for high-performance outcomes.
5. Implement risk management strategies to mitigate issues impacting quality, cost, or timeline.
6. Drive the successful execution of complex, large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction.
7. Track project progress, generate reports, and communicate key updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the engineering industry, with at least 8 years in project management roles.
• 20% travel expected.
• Must have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
