Description

The opportunity

As a Project Management Application Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing the business value realization for the applications of the Project Management function by implementing the given priorities in the best way in alignment with the head of Project Management.

How you´ll make an impact

  • Ensure that the application(s) have a proper strategic positioning in alignment with the Project Management function and IT Enterprise Architecture.

  • Be the single point of contact for the Project Management function regarding the applications to support their business needs.

  • Ensure service delivery, including case resolution (incidents, requests) management, support agreements, and Service Management system compliance with Hitachi Energy standards.

  • Ensure availability and accuracy of technical documentation for the applications in scope.

  • Manage contracts with external vendors.

  • Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging threats to improve the effectiveness of Vulnerability Monitoring Service and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations.

  • Perform activities required by Internal Controls, especially if the application is relevant to ICoFR.

  • Ensure compliance with local security requirements.

Your background

  • 5-7 years of relevant working experience.

  • Experience in one or more coding languages (e.g., Javascript, C++, Python, Java) and development platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Salesforce).

  • Understanding of software development lifecycles.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to various stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Fluency in English, both oral and written.
