YOUR ROLE

The resource will be placed in the Business Unit Project Logistics in the department dedicated to managing transportation activities for Project shipments (Industrial, Over Dimensional, Heavy Loads).

WHAT YOU WILL DO?

1. Provide operational support to the Project Logistics division in Italy to manage the entire shipment flow based on the specific needs of the project and/or client.
2. Ensure communication and coordination with all parties involved in the process, e.g. air/maritime carriers, brokers, warehouses, intermodal operators, railway operators, clients.
3. Provide prompt and timely responses to client requests, ensuring the resolution of any issues, managing irregularities, and preventing their recurrence.
4. Prepare all required and necessary import/export documentation (bill of lading, HAWB, MAWB, invoices, etc.).
5. Coordinate with other internal functions involved: Procurement, Business Development.
6. Ensure that workflows comply with current regulations, including internal standard operating procedures (SOPs) adopted by CEVA and client-specific requirements and procedures.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

1. Degree or High School Diploma.
2. Experience, even minimal, in the transportation sector dedicated to Project shipments (Industrial, Over Dimensional, Heavy Loads) or intermediate experience in the Ocean sector.
3. Knowledge of import/export documentation and the coordination of goods.
4. Knowledge of over-dimensional and heavy cargo transportation methodologies.
5. Knowledge of Incoterms, regulations, laws, and rules related to the handling of goods for both import and export.
6. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
7. Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
8. Ability to work independently, excellent organizational skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
9. Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships (both internal with other functions and external with suppliers, clients, etc.).
