Project Launch Manager & Quality Engineer

At our Italian location we are looking for a Project Launch Manager (m/f/d) & Quality Engineer (m/f/d):

Main Activities - Project Launch Manager:

• Ensure flawless production and perfect P1 launches in association with a P1/P0 Project development conducted in a Development Center.
• Ensure the achievement of Project objectives in terms of manufacturing: VPS principles, process standards, quality & cost.
• Ensure manufacturing/production quality objectives respect (process standards development, timing, capacity & logistic control…), contributing to product/process definition (led by Project Team), take Project QRQC responsibility on site starting OTOP preparation (after Off Tool OFTO achievement).
• Run at rate and FDPR planning and realization within quality objectives for assembly and upstream components.
• Manage PPAP file delivery, acceptance and parts deliveries on time to customer. Follow all modifications requested.
• Follow-up non-quality costs and quality improvement plans.
• Check and validate Project Launch Members activities and propose scenarios to achieve milestones.
• Ensure appraisal and development of associated project team members.
• Participate in all reviews: Design, Process & logistic, PFMEA, TSC, PMC, IVC & RU Ready starting from NPAV milestone.
• Play the interface role between the Project development team located in Development Center and the customer.
• Participate in improving work activities through Improvement Proposals (PI).

Main Activities - Quality Engineer:

• Represent HSL at the customer as central point of contact and manage all related quality tasks professionally, internally and externally.
• Collaborate with customer teams in the integration of Lighting and Electronic projects.
• Resolve conflicts between team members, departments and coordinate the best possible project progress.
• Analyze and document defects and feedback from customers.
• Develop, implement and maintain quality control systems and processes to ensure that products meet customer and industry standards.
• Ensure project goals in terms of milestones and maturity, while motivating the team to meet commitments in timing and maturity levels.
• Ensure that products are of the highest quality through inspections and testing.
• Develop and maintain quality assurance standards to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Review test results and product specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and maintain quality control systems to ensure consistent production quality.
• Analyze and document production processes to identify areas of improvement.
• Conduct required audits to verify product and process quality.
• Collaborate with suppliers to address and resolve quality issues.
• Analyze quality data and metrics of suppliers to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Maintain and update supplier quality documentation and records.
• Ensure suppliers adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to suppliers on quality-related matters.
• Review and approve Risk Assessment documents such as PFMEA and DFMEA.

Language:

Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of Italian and/or German is a plus.
