Role Overview :
The Project IT Specialist is a versatile and expert professional responsible for the design, configuration,
integration, and documentation of IT systems and network infrastructures within Company industrial
projects. This role involves a broad understanding of IT domains, including networking, computing,
virtualization systems, and cybersecurity, with the ability to adapt to different technical scenarios and
project needs. The specialist works in close collaboration with the Project Engineering Manager (PEM)
and multidisciplinary engineering teams, to ensure the project meet contractual specifications, regulatory
requirements, and company standards, including those related to Quality, HSE, and Cyber Security.
Key Responsibilities :
Analyze technical elements of contractual specifications, applicable standards, and regulatory
requirements to fully understand client and project needs and support internal teams with
expertise.
Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and project requirements, with a proactive approach to
learning and integrating new IT solutions.
Ability to produce clear and structured technical documentation, including specifications,
configuration manuals, and test procedures, in compliance with Company quality and regulatory
standards.
Prepare material requisitions and purchase requests in line with project priorities and quality
procedures.
Design and plan system configurations implementations, coordinating vendor specialist support
where necessary), and supporting other internal project multidisciplinary teams.
Participate and / or coordinate in system testing (IAT, FAT) alongside the PEM and Project Quality
Manager, contributing to the technical validation of implemented solutions.
Required Skills :
Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and PDF tools.
Experience in designing and implementing LAN / WAN network architectures, including multi-tier
designs (e.g., three-tier enterprise networks), high-availability setups.
Knowledge of fiber optics and copper network basis.
Experience with Windows Server (2016+) and Windows Client (10+, including IoT LTSC versions)
administration, and basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, CMD).
Basic Knowledge of Linux environments (e.g., Debian, Red Hat).
Knowledge of core services such as DHCP, DNS, NTP and authentication mechanisms (e.g.,
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and ability to evaluate and plan secure network
configuration practices.
Experience in designing and manage virtualized computing environments (e.g., VMware),
including provisioning of virtual machines, clustering / high-availability deployments.
Good knowledge of storage architectures and technologies, including RAID configuration, disk
types and interfaces.
Basic knowledge of controller-based wireless LANs deployments.
Good knowledge of designing and operating network monitoring tools for infrastructure
supervision, bandwidth performance analysis, and alert handling.
Good command of English (minimum B2 level, written and spoken) with the ability to clearly
convey technical information to both technical and non-technical multidisciplinary stakeholders.
Preferred Technical Skills :
Proven experience in designing, implementing and troubleshooting L3 routed WAN systems using
VRF, OSPF, BGP and MPLS protocols.

Proven experience in designing, configuring and maintaining next-gen network security solutions
Proven experience in designing, configuring and maintaining NMS systems (e.g., Zabbix, PRTG,
SolarWinds) and traps / syslog configurations.
Proven experience in designing, configuring and maintaining virtual computing environment
based on VmWare and shared iSCSI / FC storage (e.g., NetApp, QNAP, EMC2).
Proven experience in designing, configuring and maintaining Backup and Disaster Recovery
Solutions (e.g., Veeam, Acronis).
Any certification(s) or proven qualification(s) applicable to above elements, or complementary,
will be considered a strong asset.
