Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Project HSE Manager for our pipeline project in Italy.

The ideal candidate provides HSE support to all activities at Site, plan, schedule, coordinate and control the activities providing quality and timely advice to the Project Manager and other Line Managers during the current and future activities.

Duties:

  • coordinate Company HSE System application on site;
  • develop the Project HSE plan and main HSE procedures specific for the project in compliance with Client expectations and Company requirements;
  • define together with PM special HSE studies and program to reduce exposure to loss via personal injury or illness, loss of fire, loss of spill of hazardous materials or waste and comply with governmental regulations;
  • define emergency response program and number and characteristics of emergency equipments and staff;
  • define the key HSE site personnel for the project;
  • support site HSE staff in site decisions and instruction issuing, supervising the Site HSE Manager;
  • participate in the periodical internal meeting and third parties meeting (client, local authority, etc..) issuing the necessary documents;
  • issue the monthly HSE reports and final project report;
  • evaluate the success of overall project HSE plan, control the achieving of project goals and seek opportunities for continuous improvement in compliance with project HSE goals and KPI, reporting to management;
  • support PD/PM with Client and Local authority relationship on HSE matters;
  • audit the site and H.O. disciplines from a HSE regulatory and management perspective and recommend actions to address deficiencies;
  • check if all the direct manpower has received suitable Personal Protection Equipments (PPE) and has been medically checked and fit to work;
  • process all safety statistics, participate in the review of all serious accidents, fatality and major disaster analyzing causes, suggesting measures to eliminate and/or correct deficiencies.

Requirements:

  • The Resource should have internationally recognised qualification in HSE Management (BSC, NEBOSH or equivalent) preferably with an engineering background.
  • The Resource should be aware of the relevant HSE norms such as ISO 45001/14001
  • The Resource should be aware of the best International practices/STD (e.g. iOGP, OSHA, BS/AS/NZ)
  • The job holder should have at least 5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Excellent knowledge of English
