Job summary

Leonardo is seeking a Project Accountant Specialist for GCAP HQ in Reading, UK, within the GCAP Finance UO. The role is part of a new joint venture with BAE and MHI, offering exposure to a wide range of tasks and early-stage processes.

The position requires a strong foundation in project accounting and stakeholder collaboration; it is based in a hybrid setup with potential for development and involvement across finance functions.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to shaping GCAP JV's project finance policies, processes, and procedures.
• Reviewing contracts and preparing Sales & Margin Trading Plans; reporting on contract status.
• Collaborating with AP/AR teams to ensure timely customer claims and correct vendor charges.
• Liaising with Accounting & Reporting to ensure correct accounting treatment of events.
• Providing ad-hoc support across business partnering and project finance during early life of the venture.
