Job Opportunity: Project Engineering Manager - Rome, Italy

Within the Electronics Division, we are seeking a Project Engineering Manager for our Rome Tiburtina office.

Responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring technical milestones are achieved within scheduled time and budget;
2. Coordinating the engineering team assigned to the specific project;
3. Managing sub-suppliers and technical solution choices related to the project;
4. Supervising on-site work if necessary;
5. Reporting project progress in the Integrated Project Team;
6. Serving as the primary technical contact point for the client.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience:

• Expert level: 3-5 years;
• Senior level: 5-10 years.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of System Design and Development management of C2 systems;
• Excellent report writing skills;
• Planning skills for activities and resources, including external constraints;
• Verification and validation skills for critical systems;
• Coordination skills for multidisciplinary technical teams;
• Management of external sub-suppliers;
• Knowledge of WAN networks, firewalls (especially Cisco), Cyber Security, and their application in complex systems is desirable.

• Familiarity with container architectures (Docker, Puppet, Ansible, RedHat IdM) is a plus;
• Knowledge of SAP, managing milestones and workloads.

Additional Information:

• Willingness to work mainly at the office with frequent short/medium trips within Italy and abroad;
• Possession of certifications such as PMI, ISIPM, CISCO, Red Hat, CISSP is a plus.
