Kenvue is currently recruiting for: Project Engineer (packaging lines experience)This position reports into Liquids Engineering Supervisor and is based at Pomezia Plant (Rome).

What will you do?

The Project Engineer is responsible for projects design and execution to make sure timing, costs and customer satisfaction objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervises installation phase directly and ascertains all safety conditions are always in place anytime.
  2. Seeks for a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and technology.
  3. Masters the interaction between materials and machinery.
  4. Identifies and shares user requirements (URS).
  5. Drives equipment standardization leveraging global platforms.
  6. Provides internal customer with a sound flow of meaningful information to increase projects understanding among all relevant functions/departments and to give them the opportunity of contributing with their own perspective to secure the results.
  7. Conducts formal comprehensive design reviews with SH&E and Quality subject matter experts and responsible.
  8. Plans equipment modification or installation together with Planning and Production.
  9. Proposes alternatives to overcome constraints.
  10. Highlights criticalities and bottlenecks that may potentially jeopardize project execution.
  11. Liaises with external partners (Suppliers, Constructor, Consultants, etc.) to ensure equipment acquisition meets project objectives (timing, performance, etc.) through technical specification definition, design review, acceptance tests, start-up tests, etc.
  12. Manages adequate know how transfer to end users (Production and Maintenance) through execution of formal training sessions.
  13. Provides proper project execution documentation (IQ/OQ protocols/reports) to support equipment qualification.
  14. Supports Production and Maintenance to start up equipment and run performance validation, execute, if necessary, secondary development programs to minimize impacts in production and speed up learning curves.
  15. Innovates through identifying new or state of the art technologies and proposes new ideas for improvement.
  16. Identifies opportunities (CIP, capacity, capability) and assesses capital investment and cost impacts.
  17. Contributes to the BP Capital projects definition phase.
  18. Provides insight and technical expertise support to Global MAKE platform development.
  19. Supports cross EMEA regional engineering activities.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor or master's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  2. Specialization in Process Engineering is a plus.
  3. Expertise in packaging lines.

Desired Qualifications:

  1. Good Knowledge of MS Office Package.
  2. Good knowledge of Autocad.
  3. English: Fluent.
