Job Description:

Company Overview: Our client is a leading company in the design and manufacturing of industrial cooling and temperature regulation systems. We are seeking a PROJECT ENGINEER MECHANICAL DESIGNER to join their R&D team based in Pavia.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptual design in 3D CAD of product layouts and components, including piping, castings, mechanical parts, sheet metal, and detailed 2D design.
• Initial structural analyses of projects (FEA).
• Supervision of assembly and testing of prototypes.
• Preparation of technical instructions and specifications, ensuring compliance with standards such as ISO, CE, PED, ASME.
• Continuous update of technical information, drawings, bills of materials, procurement specifications, and technical agreements.
• Final approval of drawings, bills of materials, documentation, and instructions for manufacturing.

Requirements:

• Solid experience in similar roles within the industrial plant sector.
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or technical diploma with extensive work experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Inventor (preferred).
• Knowledge of structural analysis and a strong interest in conceptual design.
• Fluent knowledge of English.
• Problem-solving mindset, creativity, and teamwork skills.
