Gradiant is seeking an experienced Project Engineer in Milan to lead design and technical execution of complex water treatment plants for industrial applications. You will review client requirements, autonomously manage engineering documents, and coordinate plant design and 3D modelling with suppliers and teams.

The role requires a Master’s in Engineering and at least 4 years of experience in the industrial water treatment sector, with fluency in Italian and English and willingness to travel for

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to manage the design and technical execution of complex primary and wastewater treatment plants for industrial applications (Oil & Gas, Power, Microelectronics and in the future Data Centers).

Responsibilities

• Reviewing Client's technical documentation and requirements
• Autonomous management of the engineering documentation (Basic & Detailed Design)
• Support of the drafting of technical documentation (P&IDs, mass balances, plant layout, data sheets, etc)
• Participation at meetings with client
• Development of project documentation and process specifications
• Management of documentation with clients (comments, revisions, etc)
• Coordination of project activities, including schedule, and technical interfaces
• Coordination of plant design and 3D modelling
• Preparation of technical requisitions for sub-suppliers
• Support to Project Manager in the evaluation of sub-supplier offers
• Expediting and management of orders: respect of delivery schedule of both documentation and material, support to sub-suppliers both for engineering and at workshop during manufacturing
• Support to quality activities, inspection and tests
• Preparation of shipping documentation
• Preparation of final manuals
• Assistance to specialists during plant erection / commissioning both from remote and at site
• Providing technical support for commercial proposals

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, or similar fields)
• At least 4 years of proven experience in a similar role within the industrial water treatment sector
• Solid autonomy in project execution and in reading/drafting project documentation
• Excellent Italian and English proficiency and availability for targeted business travel
