A fast-growing start-up in the E-Mobility sector seeks a Junior Project Engineer to manage the installation of EV charging stations across Italy. The role involves direct interaction with the global team, project management, and building relationships with installation partners. Ideal candidates will have an engineering degree, experience in electrical installations, and a passion for the automotive market.

ChargeGuru is a fast-growing start-up focused on providing the best charging solutions for E-Mobility to individuals and companies. ChargeGuru has a platform model and relies on strong partnerships with Automotive OEMs (PORSCHE, TESLA, VW, POLESTAR, FORD) to feed its growth.

ChargeGuru operates in France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Italy, Germany, UK and Republic of Ireland.

To consolidate its activity in Italy, ChargeGuru looks for a versatile Junior Project Engineer to grow within the Operation team, managing projects of installation of Charging stations for Electric Vehicles in Italy; direct interaction with our international Global team will also be needed.

• Become an expert of the installation of EV charging equipment: seamless deployment of EV chargers for private and company drivers.
• Build relationships of trust and provide support to the installation partners of our network.
• Become an expert of our best-in-class software tools to manage the workflow as well as of the best charging equipment on the market
• Manage the installers, dispatching the projects and following up until completion, being involved directly in the more difficult ones and monitoring the simple ones.
• Pre-sales: study of power systems, briefing of installation partners, production of technical and economic proposals
• Post-sales: management of purchases and supply of equipment, support for installation partners and monitoring of installations, management of interactions with customers
• Take part in cross-functional and international projects in order to grow the ChargeGuru effectiveness in the Italian and European markets.

Your profile ?

Ideally you have:

• Engineering degree (bachelor or master): a specialization in ELECTRICAL engineering would be a strong plus. This may be replaced by a diploma awarded by Technical Institutes (“diploma di perito industriale”) plus at least one year of experience in an electrical design studio.
• Experience in electrical installations or similar (e.g.: TLC installations). Knowledge of EV charging, including technical standards, rules and regulations would be a welcome plus
• Good knowledge of English language. French or Spanish is a nice plus

Preferable but not essential:

• Knowledge of EV charging, including technical standards, rules and regulations.
• Basic project management competences
• Taste for challenges and responsibilities of a fast-growing lean organization.
• Organized, rigorous and autonomous, with a strong start-up mindset.
• Ability in building relationships, speaking to partners, building trust as main pillar.
• A keen interest in the automotive market, electric vehicles, Energy Transition; or all three.
• Willingness to learn quickly and loving a job well done !
