An International fast growing Independent Power Producer is looking for an Electrical Engineer with experience in PV, wind, and BESS. The company specializes in the initiation, development, financing, construction, management, and operation of projects involving the generation of electricity from renewable energy sources (Wind, Solar, Battery Energy Storage). The company has operations in Israel and Europe (western, Northern, and eastern Europe) with a diversified portfolio of income-generating projects, projects during construction, and pre-construction that total over 2.0GW and an additional 20 GW / 30 GWh in different development stages.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Engineering Management of external and internal stakeholders/consultants/engineering company.
2. Assist with the definition of solar PV design criteria for optimization for cost reduction and performance improvement.
3. Perform solar resource assessments and energy production estimates with PVsyst and other optimization tools.
4. Support, from a technical point of view, the procurement phase (request for proposal, contract negotiation) with equipment suppliers and BoP/EPC Contractors.
5. Support in the assessment of new opportunities for investment with internal feasibility analysis or with external technical advisors.
6. Collaborate closely with various departments throughout the project cycle – Procurement, Business Development, Project Development, Construction, and Operation.
7. Support in improving internal processes.
8. The position will also include exposure to other renewable technologies: Green Hydrogen.

Requirements:

1. Previous PV experience.
2. Good understanding of PV Design.
3. Previous WTG experience – Advantage.
4. Previous BESS experience – Advantage.
5. Technical Project Management experience.
6. Experience in the technical contractual phase for renewable energy plants.
7. Familiarity with Project Development is preferable.
8. Preferable experience in high voltage connections and substations.
9. Software skills: PVsyst, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office suite, Word, and Excel. Strong writing and presentation skills.
10. Other skills: Pro-active approach, structured working style, capacity for managing and integrating external engineering companies/advisors.
11. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly through reports, presentations, teleconferences, memoranda, and email.
12. Ability to function well in fast-paced, collaborative, multidisciplinary teams, and self-directed independent assignments.
13. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
