An International fast-growing Independent Power Producer is looking for an Electrical Engineer with experience in PV, wind, and BESS. The company specializes in the initiation, development, financing, construction, management, and operation of projects involving the generation of electricity from renewable energy sources (Wind, Solar, Battery Energy Storage). The company has operations in Israel and Europe (Western, Northern, and Eastern Europe) with a diversified portfolio of income-generating projects, projects during construction, and pre-construction phases, totaling over 2.0 GW and an additional 20 GW / 30 GWh in different development stages.

Responsibilities

• Manage project engineering involving external and internal stakeholders, consultants, and engineering companies.
• Assist in defining solar PV design criteria for cost optimization and performance enhancement.
• Perform solar resource assessments and energy production estimates using PVsyst and other tools.
• Support procurement phases technically, including RFPs, contract negotiations with equipment suppliers, and BoP/EPC Contractors.
• Assess new investment opportunities through internal feasibility studies or external technical advisors.
• Collaborate with departments such as Procurement, Business Development, Project Development, Construction, and Operations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in improving internal processes.
• This role will also include exposure to other renewable technologies, such as Green Hydrogen.

Requirements

• Experience in PV systems.
• Strong understanding of PV design principles.
• Experience with Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) – Advantage.
• Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) – Advantage.
• Technical project management experience.
• Experience in the contractual phase of renewable energy projects.
• Familiarity with project development is preferable.
• Experience with high voltage connections and substations – Advantage.
• Proficiency in PVsyst, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), with strong presentation and writing skills.
• Proactive, structured, and capable of managing and integrating external engineering teams and advisors.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, capable of producing clear reports, presentations, and correspondence.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams and independently.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
