Project Engineer – Esperienza Oil & Gas, Cagliari

Position: Project Engineer / Senior Designer

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer / Designer for a multinational leader in industrial automation and technological solutions for the energy, oil & gas, and manufacturing sectors. The position is based in the province of Piacenza. The company is characterized by an international and highly structured environment, focusing on technological innovation and operational excellence.

Role Purpose

The selected candidate will be responsible for the technical management of assigned projects, supporting the implementation of engineering solutions and coordinating among various teams involved.

Main Responsibilities

1. Define and implement technical solutions aligned with customer needs and company standards.
2. Support cost estimation and technical specifications definition of projects.
3. Coordinate testing and validation activities of engineering solutions.
4. Interact with production departments to ensure effective execution of development and manufacturing phases.
5. Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement in engineering.
6. Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations for the industrial sector.
7. Prepare technical reports and documentation on project progress.
8. Participate in technical meetings and internal training for ongoing updates.

Technical Project Management

1. Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing project activities.
2. Supervise correct application of technical specifications and standards.
3. Collaborate with the engineering team for technical requirement analysis and solution definition.

Team and Stakeholder Coordination

1. Interface with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project progress.
2. Coordinate activities among engineering, production, and quality functions.
3. Participate in technical meetings and support problem-solving efforts.

Quality Control and Documentation Management

1. Monitor quality and compliance of technical documentation.
2. Ensure adherence to sector regulations and company standards.
3. Participate in testing, commissioning, and startup activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Chemical, or equivalent).
• 3-5 years of experience in technical roles within industrial contexts (Oil & Gas, Energy, Industrial Automation).
• Knowledge of Engineer-to-Order (ETO) processes and managing customized projects.
• Skills in modeling, simulation, and project management software (AutoCAD, SAP, Primavera P6).
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and complex project management abilities.
