Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Project Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of tasks within the Engineering Department. The position is based in NAPOLI, IT.

Accountabilities

• Coordinate the engineering project team from design to final validation, analyzing field feedback.
• Manage design reviews and project configuration.
• Serve as a technical interface with the customer.
• Manage project requirements with support from the requirement manager.
• Oversee project planning with support from the project planner.

Required Skills / Knowledge

• At least 1 year of experience in the railway industry as a Project or System Engineer.
• Preferred experience with Main Line / High-Speed Rolling Stocks.
• Knowledge of RAMS disciplines and onboard railway systems regulations.
• Proficiency with office automation software (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Understanding of electrotechnical and electronic system engineering processes in railway projects.
• Knowledge of engineering processes and railway operations.
• Effective collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
• Ability to work autonomously and in teams, in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Availability for short-term national and international travel.
