We are looking for a talented Renewable Energy-Project Engineer to join our EPC team in the Milan office. As a Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in delivering our project pipeline and providing support to our Origination, Business Development, EPC and Asset teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Econergy is a fast-growing, publicly traded company specializing in developing, constructing, and operating renewable energy projects (PV, Solar & storage)

Responsibilities :

• Prepare preliminary layouts and PVSyst reports and conduct performance analysis for PV-BESS-Wind projects in the pipeline. - Offer engineering input from initial assessment to technical and economic feasibility, procurement, construction monitoring, and ongoing operations. - Assist in solar project origination, development, pre-construction and operation. - Manage the technical due diligence process, including collaboration with external parties. - Review and prepare technical documents such as layouts, SLD, specifications, reports, calculations, and BoQs. - Coordinate the external Engineering Design Companies for the projects' preliminary and construction phases. - Conduct technical assessments of renewable energy projects.

Requirements :

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil or related fields). - Proficiency in PVSyst and desirable skills in other PV design software such as PVcase and VirtoCAD. - Excellent AutoCAD skills. - Good GIS software skills. - Strong knowledge of solar system design and the ability to optimize system components for enhanced energy production. - Familiarity with electrical and structural design components and manufacturers. - Familiarity with energy modelling, PV-specific modelling, standard electrical calculations, and basic structural and mechanical calculations. - Knowledge of relevant standards such as IEC / IS, CEI, etc.

Fluent proficiency in English and Italian is required. Knowledge of an additional language is a plus
