The role involves leading project phases, ensuring timely delivery, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in an international setting. Ideal candidates will have a Master’s degree in engineering and experience in project management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals.

Summary

The Project Engineer will lead our newly introduced strategic capital investment project through all phases with a high level of independence, interacting with internal and external stakeholders on an international level. The Project Engineer will ensure the project delivery in a timely manner. The individual in this role will be exposed to the possibility of personal and professional growth under strong leadership guidance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals and operational constraints
• Assists the business in identifying and defining the project requirements and necessary changes
• Identifies and mitigates technical risks, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Monitors project progress and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders, including reporting on KPIs and milestones
• Provides project management leadership, technical expertise and problem-solving capabilities in support of the project and complex business problems within multiple engineering disciplines
• Develops innovative engineering solutions, which enhance physical plant infrastructures and permit/accommodate growth in manufacturing capabilities
• Coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met

Requirements

• Master’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering
• Previous related experience in managing projects in an international manufacturing environment
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is considered an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of English and Italian
