A leading company is looking for a Project Engineer who will manage customer orders for Medium Voltage switchgear. This role includes responsibilities in technical discussions, project execution, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a relevant engineering degree and at least 2 years of experience in electrical distribution.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will convert customer orders for Medium Voltage switchgear into drawings and BOMs that comply with customer requirements. Each day, you will have technical discussions with customers at various stages of the project to ensure timely execution, in accordance with the order and quality and safety guidelines.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role contributes to the Distribution Solutions Division, within the Electrification Business Area in Dalmine.You will be mainly accountable for:• Leading the technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors and vendors.• Supporting project managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards.• Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project.• Selecting adequate electrical equipment.• Helping customers to resolve technical issues and assisting on questions and comments regarding the product.• Developing your management and communication skills by working with the operations and quality department.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree and/or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Control or Automation, or similar relevant studies.
• You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical distribution, working as project engineer with medium voltage switchgear.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools, including SAP, EPlan, AutoCAD, and the Office suite.
• You have an Intermediate English Level (both written and spoken)
• You have a strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
• You have a high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
• You have a collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.
