Reporting To

Senior Engineering Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will convert customer orders for Medium Voltage switchgear into drawings and BOMs that comply with customer requirements. You will engage in technical discussions with customers at various project stages to ensure timely execution, adhering to quality and safety guidelines. The work model for this role is: #LI-Onsite. This position contributes to the Distribution Solutions Division within the Electrification Business Area in Dalmine. Your main responsibilities include:

1. Leading technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors, and vendors.
2. Supporting project managers with claims, customer specifications, and safety standards.
3. Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Selecting appropriate electrical equipment.
5. Helping customers resolve technical issues and addressing questions regarding the product.
6. Developing management and communication skills by collaborating with operations and quality departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Control or Automation, or a similar relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical distribution as a project engineer with medium voltage switchgear.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools, including SAP, EPlan, AutoCAD, and the Office suite.
• Intermediate proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong focus on safe work practices and adherence to safety guidelines.
• High self-motivation, curiosity, and eagerness to learn about new technologies.
• Collaborative, solution-oriented approach with strong communication skills.
