The applicant shall assist the project development department in the acquisition and management of large-scale solar PV, Green H2, and Wind brownfield and greenfield projects, from site scouting to Ready to Build stage. A major focus will be on grid connections in Italy.
Main responsibilities
- Supporting the technical assessments of the grid connection feasibilities MV and HV.
- Supporting the technical/environmental assessments.
- Monitoring environmental procedures, supervising environmental consultants, ensuring compliance with design and construction requirements.
- Monitoring the preliminary design of greenfield projects, supervising engineering consultants, and ensuring compliance with permitting, environmental, and construction standards.
- Liaising with network operators (Enel and Terna), managing web portals, and coordinating engineering for grid connection execution.
- Managing shared agreements for substations and related easements.
- Collaborating with engineering and construction departments.
- Assisting in project management, including timelines, budgets, cash flows, and reporting.
- Managing communications, archives, and data within competence centers and the Italian branch.
- Demonstrable experience in developing, asset management, consultancy, or advisory roles in large-scale PV projects in Italy.
- Knowledge of H2 and Wind project development frameworks is a plus.
- Understanding of the Italian regulatory framework for energy sector development, especially PV plants, including environmental and licensing requirements. H2 and Wind knowledge is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English (written and oral).
- Experience in Project Management or Technical Advisory roles.
- Proficiency with CAD or GIS software.
- Understanding of Italian regulations applicable to PV projects.
- Additional languages such as German, Spanish, Portuguese are a plus.
