Project Developer (m / f / d)

We are currently seeking a Project Developer (m / f / d) for our company, Progetti Srl in Milan, part of the BayWa r.e. group.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical and permitting feasibility studies for wind and/or photovoltaic plants in Italy.
• Perform technical site inspections for assessing potential project areas.
• Manage relationships and negotiations with landowners, including commercial negotiations, contract drafting, and notarization support with our legal team.
• Coordinate preliminary, definitive, and executive technical project designs (plant layout, territorial framing, electrical schematics, technical reports, etc.).
• Analyze territorial restrictions and local/national regulations.
• Prepare business plans and technical-economic analyses of projects.
• Manage project progress documentation via internal management software.
• Prepare documentation for project authorization processes (e.g., PAUR, AU, PAS), including coordination with external specialists for environmental impact assessments (VIA).
• Oversee the entire authorization process, from submission to obtaining permits and project realization, including meetings with authorities.
• Manage relations with ENEL, Terna, Customs Agency, etc.
• Coordinate with project area owners and public/private entities involved.
• Handle relations with GSE regarding incentives.
• Collaborate with engineering, administration, legal, and other teams in Italy and Germany (headquarters).

Required Skills and Experience

• Degree in a technical or economic field, preferably Engineering.
• Excellent knowledge of wind and/or photovoltaic technology.
• Experience supervising wind and/or photovoltaic plant designs.
• Knowledge of permitting procedures for wind and/or photovoltaic plants and sector experience.
• Familiarity with territorial constraint analysis tools.
• At least 5 years of experience in construction sites or photovoltaic projects.
• At least 5 years managing relations with public and private entities for permits and project implementation.
• Experience in business plan development and technical-economic project analysis.
• Strong autonomy, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage complex situations.
• Proficiency in CAD software, PVSyst or similar, GIS tools, Word, Excel.
