Your Mission:
As a Project Developer for Biomethane, you will play a crucial role in the development, planning, and execution of biomethane projects. You will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from site identification to final implementation, collaborating closely with technical teams, regulatory bodies, and external partners to ensure timely project delivery and operational success.
Your Main Responsibilities will be:
- Identify and develop biomethane production opportunities, assessing site suitability and resource availability.
- Assess the availability of waste to ensure the viability of the plant.
- Sign the necessary agreements to secure the waste required for the proper operation of the biomethane plant.
- Lead project management activities, including feasibility studies, permitting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Negotiate with landowners, regulatory agencies, and technical partners to secure all necessary project approvals.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities, suppliers, and business partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, M.Sc., etc.) or certifications are advantageous.
- 1+ years of experience in project development or management within the renewable energy sector, ideally in waste-to-energy and/or RNG.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle challenges effectively.
- Familiarity with permitting processes and environmental regulations.
- English or Spanish B2 level.
- Native Italian proficiency.
