A leading company in the transmission industry is seeking a Project Controller in Milan. This role involves managing project budgets and financial performance, requiring strong analytical skills and experience in controlling within a project business environment. The ideal candidate will also possess a degree in Economics, Accounting, or Management Engineering, alongside proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.

Competenze

• 2-3 years as a Business Controller or experience in audit firms.
• Preferably within a project business company (EPCI).
• Ability to operate proactively and autonomously.

Mansioni

• Deployment and maintenance of the detailed projects’ budget.
• Periodic analysis of the financial performance of the projects.
• Preparation of invoices and coordination of monthly closure activities.

We are looking for a Controller who will report to the Projects Controlling Manager and will be part of the Transmission Business Unit Finance team, based in Milan.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Deployment and maintenance of the detailed projects’ budget in cooperation with the Project Managers
• Periodic analysis and explanation of the financial performance of the projects (both P&L and Cash profile)
• Monthly updates of the projects’ budgets in view of the monthly financial closure and forecasting
• Coordinate the responses to external auditors
• Support to the Project Managers in the preparation of variation orders requests to the customers
• Preparation of invoices to customers and checking of cash collections
• Coordination of activities related to the monthly closure of the legal entity

Qualifications

• Graduation in Economics, Accounting or Management Engineering
• Knowledge of SAP, particularly modules FI / CO / PS
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Experience and Soft Skills

• 2-3 years as a Business Controller, preferably within a project business company (EPCI) or experience in audit firms supporting client projects
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to operate proactively and autonomously with attention to detail
• Flexibility and ability to work within a team, under pressure, and with multiple deadlines
