Job Description:

SICIM is a Construction Company established in 1962, offering services related to pipeline installation and ancillary facilities for oil, gas, and water transmission and distribution on an international basis.

We are currently seeking a Project Control Specialist for our project in Northern Germany.

The candidate will handle all aspects of Planning & Cost Control activities on a Pipeline Construction Project, reporting directly to the Project Manager and providing timely updates to HQ.

The responsibilities include:

• Coordinate scheduling and cost control activities, review and forecast with project team members and the Project Manager.
• Report and track emerging trends.
• Log and resolve project issues and deficiencies.
• Support Project Managers with Project Control activities such as Work Statements, Schedule monitoring, and reporting.
• Organize review meetings.
• Review vendor progress reports and schedules to update the Overall Project Master Schedule.
• Collaborate with contractors to analyze schedules, critical paths, variations, and progress trends.
• Coordinate lessons learned sessions with project teams.
• Assist in budget preparation in cooperation with the Project and Construction Managers.
• Prepare monthly Cost Control Reports tracking Actual, Committed, and Forecasted Costs.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in English and Italian; German is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Pipeline Construction within the Oil & Gas sector.
• University degree with related Project Controls experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage high workloads and tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with internal and external groups.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, Oracle Primavera (P6), and Tilos.
• Team player with motivation and ability to meet deadlines.

Work location: near Hamburg, Germany.
