Specialista Senior / Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Buyer to shape the future within our organization. Based in Milan, in the Purchasing Department of the Transmission Business Unit, reporting directly to the Projects Purchasing Coordinator, the candidate will be responsible for:

1. Developing and executing the sourcing plan for Projects within the assigned Region;
2. Managing the Project sourcing plan to ensure compliance with budget, timing, and contractual requirements;
3. Handling complex contractual negotiations, with support from the legal department, to ensure proper flow-down of main contract provisions;
4. Implementing purchasing procedures and processes;
5. Identifying savings and improvement opportunities in costs, processes, quality, and service, and introducing innovative approaches, including synergies across the Region;
6. Promoting early involvement of Purchasing and supporting the Strategic Tender purchasing team in negotiating Pre-Bid Agreements;
7. Scouting the market to expand the supplier base for strategic commodities.

The ideal Project Buyer will possess:

1. 2-3 years of experience in a Purchasing role;
2. Solid professional experience in multinational companies;
3. Determination, enthusiasm, and commitment to managing complexity and challenges;
4. Excellent team-building skills;
5. Good communication skills and strategic mindset;
6. Proficiency in English, with additional skills in French and/or German considered a plus;
7. Familiarity with SAP system.
