Founded in Italy in 1961, Telespazio is based in Rome with over 3000 employees across various subsidiaries and joint ventures.

We are seeking a Program Manager to join the PreSales and Delivery team in Rome. The role involves managing and delivering projects within the SatCom Line of Business, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, timelines, costs, and financial targets, with the goal of maximizing customer satisfaction.

The candidate will work in an international environment, interacting directly with suppliers and customers, and collaborating with internal teams.

Tasks & Accountabilities:

• Create and manage product/service documentation.
• Manage project targets and milestones from contract signing to service delivery, ensuring quality, timing, and cost adherence.
• Develop and monitor detailed project schedules and work plans (e.g., GANTT charts), allocate resources, and coordinate tasks with the PMO.
• Execute and control project activities, managing costs and schedule KPIs (EBIT/Revenues), and support annual budgeting.
• Contribute significantly to bid/no-bid decisions.
• Assist in contract negotiations and amendments.
• Support sales in designing delivery solutions, collaborating with sales teams.
• Respond to RFI/RFP/RFQ with scope and cost estimates.
• Coordinate workstreams with external (customers, third-party providers) and internal teams (sales, engineering, operations, legal, logistics).
• Manage subcontractors and vendor contracts, assign and track tasks, and communicate deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, document issues, and suggest contingency plans.
• Provide periodic reports to upper management.

Qualifications and Experiences:

• University degree in Telecommunications, Aerospace, Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in TLC and SATCOM sectors.
• Strong project management skills and knowledge of project life cycles.
• Technical knowledge of core TLC and SATCOM services (e.g., VSAT, MSS, IoT, M2M, hybrid platforms, LEO constellations).
• Excellent organization and coordination skills for remote teams.

• Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Office, MS Project).
• Good interpersonal skills in multicultural settings.
• Strong negotiation and mediation abilities.
• Fluent in English (C1 level).
