Overview
The candidate will join the IT Governance Office as a Senior Program Manager responsible for orchestrating the execution of an Integration Portfolio, ensuring alignment to the group’s digital transformation. Operating globally, the candidate will oversee the end-to-end planning, delivery, and governance of cross-functional programs — including CRM, Omnichannel, ERP, Corporate Functions, e-Commerce, and Supply Chain — while ensuring interdependencies are managed, risks mitigated, and value realized. The ideal candidate will lead strategic decision-making across delivery streams, guide internal teams and vendors, and function as a change enabler across organizations. They will also contribute to reshaping the way programs and portfolios are governed, bringing Agile, product-aligned, and value-driven practices.
Responsibilities
- Own the integrated transformation roadmap across all initiatives, aligning them with IT strategic goals and organizational priorities.
- Define and maintain the Integration Portfolio framework (planning, resourcing, budgeting, reporting).
- Govern cross-program interdependencies, escalating blockers and ensuring timely risk mitigation and resource alignment.
- Monitor KPIs and metrics for program performance, delivery health, and business value realization.
- Lead global program execution, ensuring consistency in delivery approach across functions and geographies.
- Manage program-level reporting, stakeholder alignment, and tracking.
- Support prioritization and phase definition for strategic domains (CRM, Corporate, Omnichannel).
- Coordinate third party vendors and internal delivery teams, ensuring adherence to plan and quality.
- Maintain and evolve program / project delivery frameworks and standards.
- Define and support onboarding of governance ceremonies (steering, RAID tracking, program increments).
- Mentor Project Managers across functional domains to ensure consistent quality and project health monitoring.
- Lead post-implementation reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of portfolio delivery.
- Influence senior stakeholders by translating complex technology decisions into clear business value.
- Collaborate with Business, IT, Solution Architects, and external vendors to ensure alignment and delivery excellence.
- Supports executive decision-making with scenario analysis and trade-off recommendations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in information systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of program and portfolio management experience in complex transformations.
- Proven experience in multi-brand, global environments, preferably in retail, fashion, or consulting firms.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic transformation programs with strong interdependencies across domains.
- Expertise in delivery lifecycle, including traditional waterfall and Agile models.
- History of leading programs across multiple domains (CRM, ERP, Omnichannel, Corporate, eCommerce).
- Experience in vendor governance and managing multi-stakeholder ecosystems.
- Strong background in portfolio planning, tracking, and resource governance.
- Familiarity with Lean Portfolio Management, KPIs and portfolio reporting tools.
- Comfortable managing ambiguity, driving clarity and decisions across C-level stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking, problem structuring, and ability to drive decision-making across functional and technological stakeholders.
- Experience in multi-entity, multi-brand, or post-M&A integration projects.
- Influential communicator and trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and ability to foster collaboration across domains.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and managing competing priorities.
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
