Position Summary

As an organization, we are dedicated to driving execution through our large-scale enterprise-wide strategic and regulatory priorities. As we expand our portfolio of projects and face increasingly complex challenges, we seek a strong, experienced Program Director to lead and oversee our high-impact programs. This role is crucial for ensuring alignment across our businesses and functions, achieving business and regulatory objectives, and driving measurable outcomes that support our growth and strategy.

Establishing a team of skilled program and project directors will support us in achieving these priorities in a consistent and well-governed manner.

As a Program Director, you will lead, manage, and optimize our most strategic and important commitments, spanning multiple businesses and teams. Reporting to the regional EMEA Head of Custody and the local Country Head, you will align cross-functional priorities, engage with senior stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with our strategic and regulatory commitments. Your work will be instrumental in implementing change across the organization.

This position requires an experienced leader with a proven track record of managing successful outcomes in complex programs within dynamic, collaborative, and time-sensitive environments. Please note that this is a fixed-term role for 30 months.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Vision
  • Lead the design, development, and execution of a cohesive program strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Act as a liaison between executive leadership and project teams to translate strategic vision into actionable plans.
  • Manage a portfolio of programs or large-scale regulatory commitments, overseeing scope, budgets, resources, and plans to ensure timely delivery.
  • Define program goals, KPIs, and success metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational growth and OKRs.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, innovations, and best practices to guide program direction.
Program Development and Execution
  • Manage planning, execution, and evaluation of all program activities, ensuring impact, governance, and adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, managing interdependencies among programs and departments.
  • Lead senior-level program reviews, assess progress, identify improvements, and implement adjustments.
  • Identify and manage risks and dependencies, developing change management strategies.
  • Engage regulators as needed, providing transparency on risks, issues, and governance.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, develop, mentor, and manage a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional growth opportunities.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders and regulators.
  • Serve as the primary contact for program matters, ensuring effective communication.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and meetings.
Resource Management & Budgeting
  • Manage program budgets, ensuring resource efficiency and financial targets are met.
  • Forecast resource needs and secure necessary resources.
  • Develop risk mitigation plans, ensuring compliance and risk management practices.
Impact Assessment & Reporting
  • Implement data-driven evaluation processes to assess impact and promote continuous improvement.
  • Present reports to leadership, the board, and stakeholders.
  • Document lessons learned and share best practices.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, investment processes, and technology integration.
  • Masters and undergraduate degrees in finance, technology, or analytical disciplines preferred, or relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in strategy, transformation, and advanced analytics.
  • Willingness to travel.
