Company

Our client is a rapidly growing multinational leader in the valve manufacturing sector, located in Busto Garolfo (MI).

Offer

  1. Creation and development of 3D models of parts (both standard and fully customized) based on design team instructions.
  2. Studying modifications and improvements to existing products for efficiency enhancement (proportional and on-off valves).
  3. Assembly creation and drawing preparation, accurately detailing critical aspects (dimensional and geometric tolerances, materials, treatments, notes, bill of materials, assembly instructions).
  4. Fluid dynamics, structural, thermal, and vibrational verification calculations.
  5. Defining product specifications, validation standards, and testing protocols.
  6. Market and competitor product analysis.
  7. Participation in pre-series prototyping and reverse engineering.
  8. Coordination with purchasing and quality departments regarding project progress, in collaboration with the supervisor.
  9. Compliance with international and company standards.
  10. Opportunity to participate in testing and validation in the R&D laboratory.
  11. Involvement in the entire process from design to final part production.

Skills and Experience

  1. Preferably a degree in Industrial Engineering.
  2. Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a similar role and sector.
  3. Experience in designing mechanical components or machinery is preferred.
  4. Proficiency in 2D and 3D software (preferably Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor).
  5. Experience with PDM systems (Vault).
  6. Ability to perform structural and fluid dynamic calculations using spreadsheets or specific software (Nastran, Ansys, Amesis, Matlab, Simerics-MP).
  7. Knowledge of international drawing standards.
  8. Understanding of materials (e.g., cast iron) and surface treatments.
  9. Knowledge of manufacturing processes for mechanical parts, such as casting or machining.
  10. Familiarity with FMEA analysis for potential failure modes.
  11. Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
  12. Proactivity, precision, and innovative thinking.
  13. Stress management, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
  14. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders (Production, Quality, Lab, etc.).
  15. Open-mindedness and strong learning orientation.
