Mechanical Designer

Responsibilities

The company's ability to continuously renew solutions and technologies becomes vital in a market and product context characterised by the continuous search for ever higher performance.
The role, reporting directly to the Mechanical Design Manager, involves the technical analysis, design, and development of measuring systems and machines with wide operational autonomy on the part of the candidate and in collaboration and close contact with the hardware and software electronic design departments.
The high technological standard present in the company makes rapid and continuous professional growth possible.

Profile

The profile is aimed at graduates in Mechanical or Materials Engineering for device design activities with a strong mechanical and electronic integration content.
In addition to an excellent general knowledge of the basic subjects of the degree course, the following characteristics are to be considered preferential:

• Knowledge of electromechanical devices and their conditioning or control circuits such as sensors for detecting physical quantities, actuation systems, control systems
• Knowledge of the physical principles of operation and conditioning of electromechanical devices
• Knowledge of finite element analysis and simulation methodologies and tools
• Experience in designing mechanical and electromechanical systems
• Experience in laboratory activities

Basic requirements are:

• Design skills for mechanical devices and integrated electromechanical systems
• Practical and implementation skills
• Ability to use electronic instrumentation and CAD tools, in particular the Creo system
• Ability to work in a team and willingness to engage in dialectical dialogue with colleagues.
