Azienda

For a long-established company involved in the manufacture of machine automation in the liquid filling industry that operates internationally, we are seeking for a Technical designer, with the following preferred requirements.

Offerta

Creating technical drawings

• Development of precise technical assemblies and drawings with CAD software (e.g. Autodesk Inventor 3D, Vault, AutoCad 2D)

Design and development

• Development of design solutions taking into account technical requirements and production possibilities according to partial specifications by the customer
• Sizing and analysis of whole details of each project, study of filling processes, preliminary analysis of machine performance, custom design to fulfill special requests
• Mechanical, pneumatic and electrical sizing according to the required performance of the machinery

Detailing and specification

• Study of preliminary layout as per customer's requests
• Preparation of detailed drawings and plans, including dimensions, materials, tolerances and surface finishes
• Preparation of parts lists (BOMs) and technical specifications.
• Preparation of pneumatic schemes and P&ID diagrams
• Draw up of electrical and software specifications for the related departments

Collaboration with other departments

• Close cooperation with sales / customers, the production team, suppliers and purchasing
• Communication of technical details and changes to relevant departments.

Documentation and quality control

• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including drawings, models and specifications.
• Checking compliance with quality standards and technical norms.

Norms and standards

• Ensuring that all designs comply with relevant norms, regulations and industry standards
• Updating drawings and documentation in line with new standards or regulations.

Prototyping and testing

• Development and design of new solutions for R&D department
• Support in the production and testing of prototypes
• Participation in test runs and analysis of test results to improve the design.

Project Management

• Planning and monitoring of smaller projects or sub-projects in the field of technical drawing and design
• Adherence to schedules and budgets for design work.

Innovation and improvement

• Development and implementation of design improvements to increase product quality or cost efficiency
• Application of new technologies and methods in the design process.

Training and development

• Participation in training courses to further develop your own skills and master new technologies
• If necessary, training and guidance of junior designers or trainees.

Competenze ed esperienza

The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• Technical education: Degree in a relevant technical field (e.g. technical design, mechanical engineering)
• CAD skills: Extensive experience in working with CAD software
• Knowledge in the field of ATEX
• Technical understanding: Good understanding of technical drawings, mechanics, pneumatics and materials.
• Attention to detail: High level of precision and attention to detail in work
• Communication skills: Good collaboration and communication skills with different departments, suppliers and customers. This also in English or other foreign languages
