a) Academic Courses - CEAR-04/A - GEOMATICS at Polytechnic University of Bari and complementary teaching activities according to the University Regulations and to the specific requirements of the Department. The didactics activity will consist not only in teaching courses by means of lectures, but also in tutorials, seminars and project workshops, as well as in participation in examination committees, in student tutoring activities and in support for thesis writing. A commitment to the didactic activities related to the PhD programmes in which the DICATECh department is involved is required.
b) Research Skills - The candidate must have recognized skills in development of research activities in the field of topics relevant to SSD CEAR-04/A - Geomatics, with particular reference to: use of advanced surveying techniques and topographic and geodetic monitoring of structures, infrastructures and territory; integration of data from heterogeneous sensors (GNSS, LiDAR, terrestrial photogrammetry, UAVs, etc.), including the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms for processing, analysis, and interpretation of spatial data; development of algorithms for 3D modelling in the BIM/FEM field for Cultural Heritage.
The candidate must coordinate high-level scientific activities, foster national and international collaborations, and transfer research results to institutions, companies, and society, aligned with the University's third mission. The ability to disseminate science and promote technical culture is required. The role includes conducting advanced scientific and technical research, supporting research activities, establishing international connections, and transferring knowledge in the technical field and dissemination.
