Alignerr is seeking experienced Italian-speaking voice actors to record professional-grade audio and evaluate AI-generated speech, helping AI systems sound genuinely human.

This is a fully remote, hourly contract with flexible scheduling. You’ll work on your own terms in a quiet studio, providing feedback to improve synthesized Italian speech.

About The Role

What You'll Do

• Record high-quality Italian voice performances using a large diaphragm microphone (LDM), following provided scripts and creative prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated Italian speech for naturalness, pronunciation accuracy, emotional expression, and overall quality
• Provide detailed, actionable feedback to help improve synthesized voice outputs
• Review and suggest script adjustments to enhance clarity and ensure authentic, natural-sounding delivery
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Experienced voice actor, narrator, audiobook reader, or voice-over professional
• Native or near-native fluency in Italian with a strong command of natural spoken delivery
• Owner of a professional-grade microphone and access to a quiet, acoustically controlled recording environment
• Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated vocal performances across a range of styles and tones
• Sharp ear for nuance — you notice subtle differences in rhythm, intonation, and pronunciation
• Detail-oriented when evaluating voice quality and providing structured feedback

Nice to Have

• Experience across multiple Italian regional accents or vocal styles
• Background in audiobook narration, commercial voice-over, or broadcast media
• Familiarity with audio production tools or DAW software
• Prior experience evaluating or rating audio content professionally
