CAEN S.p.A. is seeking a motivated and skilled Production Test Electronic Technician to join our Product Test team. Join us and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies in the field of nuclear and particle physics instrumentation.

The selected candidate will perform functional and performance tests on analog and digital boards, troubleshoot failures, and collaborate with firmware, hardware, and mechanical teams to ensure product quality and reliability.

Competenze

• High school diploma in Electronics or equivalent background.
• Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit theory.
• Experience (even basic) in soldering and micro-soldering activities.
• Proficiency in using electronic laboratory instruments (oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, power supplies, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Proficiency in Italian and English (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of C/C++ and Python programming languages.
• Familiarity with electronic design tools (e.g., Altium Designer).

Mansioni

• Perform functional and performance tests on analog and digital electronic boards.
• Troubleshoot and identify failures or non-conformities at the component and system level.
• Support design and development teams by providing feedback on test results and production issues.
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and mechanical teams to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Prepare and maintain detailed test documentation, reports, and procedures.
• Contribute to the improvement and automation of testing processes and setups.
