Position Overview
The RFE Production Supervisor oversees and manages the workflow of Request for Evidence (RFE) documentation to ensure timely and accurate submissions. This role ensures team compliance with quality standards, USCIS requirements, and efficiency within deadlines. The supervisor also streamlines processes, develops team skills, and promotes a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Management:
• Supervise and guide the RFE production team, ensuring proper task assignment and deadline adherence.
• Foster a collaborative environment to boost productivity and morale.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for professional growth.
Workflow Coordination:
• Oversee the entire RFE production process from assignment to submission.
• Coordinate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and team members for timely and accurate RFEs.
• Address bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the workflow.
Quality Assurance:
• Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Review RFE packets for correctness and formatting.
• Monitor issues and improve quality and consistency.
Process Improvement:
• Analyze workflows and identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate to refine SOPs and adopt best practices.
• Introduce automation tools to streamline tasks.
Training and Development:
• Develop training programs for new and existing staff.
• Keep team updated on USCIS guidelines and internal processes.
• Promote continuous learning.
Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure activities comply with legal and confidentiality standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of workflows and issues.
• Generate reports on performance and efficiency.
Collaboration and Communication:
• Liaise with legal staff and other departments.
• Facilitate meetings and share updates.
• Clearly communicate goals and feedback.
Performance Metrics and Reporting:
• Prepare leadership reports on achievements and challenges.
• Use data to inform decisions and improve operations.
Essential Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
• Excellent English communication skills; bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and process automation tools.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of supervisory or operations experience, preferably in a similar industry.
• Leadership experience required.
• LEAN methodologies experience preferred.
• Experience with operations management software (CRM, case management systems, etc.).
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM EST
Payrate: $11.00 / hr
