We are looking for a Production Supervisor for our Dry Polymer Plant, being responsible for the production and quality of products released by the company. The candidate reports to the Production Manager and collaborates with planning, engineering, maintenance, quality control, E&T group and has a strong orientation to EHSQ systems.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and organization of the equipmet and personnel in relation to the weekly production plan of the plants;
  • Organization and management of personnel (shifts and holiday planning);
  • Management of the plan controls, of the periodic maintenance of the equipments and machines in use and elaboration of the needs
  • Specifically analyzes any product and / or process quality problem with particular regard to the production of intermediate and finished products, identifying the possible causes;
  • Collaborates to propose solutions to the research and development
  • Collaborates with maintenance and engineering to solve the technical-mechanical issues
  • Collaborates to modify the production procedures if they need to be modified and / or updated.
  • Works in collaboration with the EHSQ Manager to keep updated and compliant the quality system;
  • Will be user for Production Module in SAP;
  • Implementing improvements to production processes that lead to overall increases in product quality and output
  • Creating production plans for new products to guarantee quality from stage one
  • Scheduling project plans along with the project team to fit project deadlines
  • Complying with ISO accreditation requirements
  • Investigating causes of quality problems and proposing solutions
  • Has a strong and focused supervision for the correct application of all the internal procedures and law requirements
  • Guarantees the cycle counting and the correct inventory
  • Is substitution of the Production manager in case of absence

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Technical Diplome, and some years experience in the same role in medium size companies
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Some years experience in chemical process industry
  • Experience in personnel management is mandatory
  • Attitude to operational activities
