Job Responsibilities

* Oversee shift operators, ensure production plan adherence, and manage the manufacturing operation to produce ECTOS products with quality and ensure continuous supply, according to GMP and EHS requirements.

* Maintain high standards of housekeeping.

* Provide technical support and guidance across the production areas.

* Ensure the completion of routine business processes, including:

1. Completion of Batch Paperwork
2. Maintenance and calibration of equipment, scheduled and completed
3. Timely closure of Production Orders
4. Update and maintenance of SOPs
5. Process Monitoring (e.g., fill measures, yields, etc.) and trend identification
6. Investigation of Production Order variances

* Ensure sufficient resources are available to achieve the production plan, including staff, equipment, facilities, and documentation. Liaise with departments such as QA, QC, EHS, and Supply Chain regarding team activities or issues.

* Assist with the preparation and management of the departmental budget.

* Ensure completion of quality and EHS processes, including:

1. Timely completion of QARs and Corrective/Preventive Actions using DMAIC approach
2. Completion of audit action items
3. Submission and completion of Change submissions
4. Operator Training and Certification
5. Consistent enforcement of GMP requirements
6. Enforcement of EHS standards and risk assessments

* Manage team performance, including:

1. Effective utilization and management of staff
2. Providing feedback on operator performance
3. Assessing operator skills

* Participate in compliance, improvement, or validation projects within the production area.

* Foster teamwork, problem solving, goal attainment, and performance enhancement skills within the production team.

* Drive operational improvements and reinforce visual management processes.

* Complete performance reviews and recognition programs timely for direct reports.

Qualifications

Education: Secondary high school diploma or bachelor's degree (Chemistry preferred) or related discipline.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing operations with ability to execute operational plans and resolve complex technical issues.
