Avery Dennison is seeking a Production Planning Specialist to oversee supply chain and inventory management for our local operations in Norcia, Umbria, Italy. You will coordinate logistics, forecast needs, and align production schedules with business goals on-site.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize product flow, analyze data, negotiate with stakeholders, and ensure timely, cost-efficient manufacturing outcomes in a dynamic environment.

Job DescriptionAs our Production Planning Specialist, you will oversee a variety of areas in supply chain and inventory management. You will oversee logistics processes, conduct in-depth materials analyses, and make recommendations to support the overall supply chain and manufacturing goals for local operations. This role serves as a liaison between the supply chain function and business units to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the process of developing and maintaining forecasts, inventory levels, and production schedules.
• Gather logistics data and monitor inventory trends to forecast potential challenges and opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement supply chain strategies that accelerate product flow.
• Conduct cost analyses, forecast demand, negotiate prices, and ensure compliance with Avery Dennison’s supply chain and inventory standards.
