A leading technology firm in Trieste is seeking a Production Planning Specialist to enhance supply chain planning and execution. The role involves reviewing production schedules, analyzing demand, and collaborating closely with engineering and production teams. Candidates should have experience in manufacturing, MRP/ERP software knowledge, and a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Competenze

Job Description

You will report directly to our Production Planning Manager and you’ll work out of Trieste location. In this role, you will support and improve the supply chain planning and execution process within the business. You will create and maintain a valid master schedule for material and capacity by effectively balancing supply and demand.

Responsibilities
  • Review the Master Production Schedule (MPS) relating to production items and evaluate the need for changes based on daily/weekly activity for a full production program, keeping into consideration customer demand and optimize production efficiency.
  • Analyze the demand and supply balance at the product family and master schedule levels, determining out-of-balance conditions, identifying alternatives, and recommending action for approval.
  • Monitor the manufacturing performance against the MPS and the execution of the schedule to evaluate results and assist in the development of future plans.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to minimize costs while ensuring sufficient supply.
  • Work closely with engineering, production, procurement and demand team to ensure alignment on schedules and material needed.
  • Address production challenges and propose solutions to improve processes and flow.
Qualifications
  • Experience in production planning and materials management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge MRP/ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite integrated AI
  • Experience in Materials Management, Operations, SIOP, Inventory Management, MRP MPS, Procurement Logistics, or Manufacturing.
