adapa Group is seeking a highly organized Production Planner for our Gambassi site, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. The role emphasizes production scheduling, resource optimization, and on-time delivery through strong cross-functional collaboration.

You will develop and maintain schedules, monitor KPIs (OTIF, capacity utilization), and drive continuous improvements in a dynamic manufacturing environment in Italy.

Competenze

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
• Strong planning and analytical abilities.
• Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken).

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Production Planner to join our manufacturing site in Gambassi. Reporting within the Supply Chain Manager of the site, the Production Planner plays a critical role in ensuring efficient production scheduling, optimal utilization of manufacturing resources, and on-time delivery of customer orders. This position requires close collaboration with Production, Customer Service, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to maintain a reliable and responsive production planning process.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Scheduling

• Develop, maintain, and optimize production plans to ensure efficient utilization of manufacturing capacity and timely order fulfillment.
• Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules in alignment with operational and customer requirements.
• Continuously review and adjust production plans based on material availability, machine capacity, workforce availability, and changing business priorities.
• Ensure production schedules are accurately communicated and executed across all relevant functions.

Operational Coordination

• Collaborate closely with Production Managers, Customer Service, Operations, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure alignment between production requirements and business objectives.
• Act as the primary interface between planning and production to facilitate effective communication and issue resolution.
• Respond proactively to operational disruptions, including delayed raw material deliveries, equipment breakdowns, capacity constraints, and urgent customer requests.

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor production performance and adherence to established schedules.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery and Capacity Utilization.
• Identify planning bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service levels.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives as the manufacturing site evolves and business requirements change.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or a comparable ERP system.
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, hands-on, and collaborative approach to work.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, procurement, and business processes.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional manufacturing environment.
• Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and responsibility.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage urgent or unexpected situations.
